Driven by emerging digital transformation and government regulation, enterprise information security has been evolving from a purely technical function to an essential business component capable of adapting and self-improving to cover a variety of functions: PR (cyber attack detection), HR (employee behavior monitoring), internal controls (fraud prevention and investigation), and business process support (CRM and other business systems). BIS SUMMIT IN BRIEF
Russia does not have that many "must-visit" events, and BIS Summit is definitely one of them. The event not only offers a comprehensive agenda, but also enables networking and demonstration of your solutions to prospects and peers.
Some of the most important topics at BIS summit were many upcoming/recent cyber security issues and how we are going to deal with them. The conference also focused on how all this will impact the digital economy, besides the uprising of AI applications. What inspired me is how the leaders in the summit are thinking and how they do not underestimate the challenge. The concepts and technologies we discovered at the summit are going to help us in our country — Egypt — in developing and protecting our growing economy.
I am happy I was part of this event! At this top-level summit, experts shared plenty of new information during their powerful and relevant keynote speeches. Moreover, I enjoyed visiting the event's expo, with its booths being really informative this year. I would like to thank the organizers for this experience!
BIS Summit is the very place where you want to try everything: listen to speakers, talk to friends, visit the expo's booths, and learn about what's new. It is simply impossible to cover it all. Those who go for face-to-face talks with peers may miss some insightful presentations.
As always, the event was organized at the highest possible level. #BeingAnEditor, you can attend a media briefing to learn how Russian Software Products Association decides which products should enter the national software register. A really valuable experience! And, of course, Natalya Kaspersky is a great speaker. For the first time, I managed to listen to almost all the speakers. Elman Beybutov delivered an outstanding presentation as usual, Oleg Glebov shared his own practical expertise in targeted attack techniques and detection, and Maxim Naumov had the most vibrant speech on media business protection.
